Dr. Ryan Albern
Dr. Ryan Albern earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Kinesiology from Rutgers University New Brunswick. Following his undergraduate graduation, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. Dr. Albern’s interest in chiropractic care, specifically the Atlas Orthogonal technique, came from personal experience. Following his first Atlas Orthogonal adjustment, his migraines completely went away and he has not experienced them since. This experience was so life changing that he immediately switched his major from engineering to something that would better prepare him for chiropractic college.
While at Palmer College, Dr. Albern became proficient in numerous adjusting techniques and soft tissue modalities which he continues to utilize today with his patients. Dr. Albern believes in a highly specific, individualized treatment approach for all patients, knowing that every patient in his care is different and benefits from a targeted protocol. His approach toward chiropractic care has always been to understand what each patient is experiencing so he can provide treatment that helps patients feel better as quickly as possible. Once his patients show improvement, Dr. Albern further educates each patient so that they can continue to feel their best for long term.
Upon graduating from Palmer College, Dr. Albern had the opportunity to train with Dr. Sweat at the Sweat Institute for Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic before practicing Atlas Orthogonal in the state of Washington. After moving back to his home state of New Jersey, Dr. Albern was able to continue learning and working with his mentor, Dr. Angelo Colavita, before opening a practice of his own in his hometown of Rutherford.
